Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chambers Dallas
Known as Hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers Dallas it involves breathing in pure oxygen under a pressure higher than that of the atmosphere, or 1 atmosphere absolute (ATA). Patients are completely enclosed in one of two settings: a monoplace chamber that fits a single patient and resembles a clear plastic tube; or a multi-place chamber designed to fit multiple patients and looking more like a hospital waiting room.
Does HBOT really work?
A specialized doctor can assess your health needs and determine whether HBOT is right for you. If so, a technician will guide you into the chamber and keep you comfortable during your treatment, which usually lasts an hour or more.
Injured tissues need a high level of oxygen to survive and heal. During HBOT, your blood becomes saturated with oxygen and is able to transport it more effectively throughout the body. This treatment is particularly useful for people with non-healing wounds, carbon monoxide poisoning, air or gas embolism and other conditions.
At R3 Wound Care and Hyperbarics, we’re proud to offer this treatment to help patients all across the country. Our certified HBOT technicians work with supervision from a wound care physician to provide high-quality wound care at our centers.
While our staff may wear many hats, they are a team of dedicated professionals who strive to provide the best possible care for every person that walks through the door of one of our centers. Their dedication to excellence is evident in the quality of the results we are able to deliver, and we hope you will be able to experience it firsthand.
